Dick’s Bash (Click here for photos) Dick’s was the place to be for a Parrot Head Party on the River Walk on the 6^th of April. It was a great time and tons-o-phun. Bob (fingers) Boyd & Fred Guererro won the Kareoke contests and won 1 pair of concert tickets. Jim Biggerstaff won in the drawing for the other pair of tickets Thanks to Pam Van Delden, Judy Coteff and Bill Perry for collecting $233 for drawing tickets for the Ronald McDonald House Charity. Also thanks to Meagn Lett & Jaimee Hamilton for soliciting merchandise for the drawing. Special thanks to Margaritaville Tequila, Alamo Golf Club and Corona for the donated merchandise, and last but not least Dick’s Last Resort for putting on the event and providing the two pairs of concert tickets (which by the way were great phlocking seats). We’re looking forward to the summer Dick’s Bash that’s in the works!
Dallas Concert (Click here for photos) Of course the concert itself was a prize, but the parking lot party was a barrel rolling good time. If you have ever been to one, you know all about Parrot Head madness. If you have never had the experience, you better not miss the next opportunity when it comes a knock’n. Parrot Heads from all over were set up there. We met Parrot Heads from Canada, Maine, Florida, Oklahoma, California and from many other phlocks from around the country. Our club was well represented. Fred & Sara had their “ Margaritaville Bound” RV set up with the SAPHC banner flying, and Fred provided the only live entertainment set up at the party. By concert time, most Parrot Heads had forgotten that *Moderation Seems To Be The Key* ingredient to a JB parking lot party.
